schaut euch das mal an, so finde ich das extrem Genial!!!!
Ich habe das aus einem amerikanischen GPZ Forum:
ZitatAlles anzeigenHere are some pics of auxillary lights installed in the pseudo-air vents.
I think they look cool! Cool
Here is what the owner had to say about the lights:
Peter T's cool lighting installation.
Lights are made by a company called Pilot. I got them at a Checkers auto parts store a few years ago in Florida. To mount them I had to cut away a small amount of plastic on the inside of the holes to make the holes flat to accept the lights. The lights are mounted at a slight angle with the bolts at about 1 and 7 on the Left side, and at 11 and 5 on the Right side. I then painted the tops of the bolts black. These lights have a yellow tint to them and when on form a "V" shape at about the same spot as where the low beam hits the road. The lights are not just cosmetic, they actually do help light up the road. I painted black around the sides of each light to help reduce the amount of light that comes in under the inside by the fork legs. Some light still comes in by the fork legs, but it does not distract when riding at night.I used male & female connectors on the wires by each light so they can be disconnected if the body work needs to be removed. The switch I used is different than what came it the box, I got it at Radio Shack.
If I were to do this project again I would look for a whiter more direct beam light that would project further ahead and in a more normal pattern than the "V" that the two lights make. But for now I'm very happy with the results.
